What Salvation Isn’t — 4 Comments

  1. Amen, Sherry.

Preaching the Truth in love and being in truth and in spirit is required of us.

Even if all walk away from us!

Pulling out these words you spoke:

“No, following Christ is a daily walk, not a one-time decision that is forgotten, and it will cost everything!”

The cost is well worth the price. I do not want to gain the whole world and lose my very soul!

Peoples very souls will be required at our hands if we dont be true watchmen and warn in love.
    God bless you sis, joyce

  2. Hi Sherry,

    Thanks for this word.

I wanted to know if I was correct regarding what this part below means:

“being accountable to another until you are delivered from those spirits and tendencies.”

Do you mean that we have to keep seeking deliverance (before God)/confess the sins we are still struggling with until He delivers us?

    Blessings

  3. Dear Ich,
My conviction in rightly dividing the word of truth and in knowing God’s Word has given me the boldness to confront those who “call” themselves a believer and live anyway they want. Jesus aways went where the people were, but he did not partake in their sin. 1Cor5:9 to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth.” 21 Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But he [a]was deeply dismayed by [b]these words, and he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.23 And Jesus, looking around, *said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus responded again and *said to them, . This life in Christ is a life of giving up and serving and there are too many scriptures to post.
