What the Lord is Saying Today – December 2012
December 31, 2012. Even when things seem hopeless and without a ray of light, I say it is never too late to believe. Do you still believe in the Lord your God? Have you come to the place where world affairs and human efforts are your way to overcoming victory? Are you willing to be strong and let your heart take courage? Jesus overcame and so can you. You have not yet suffered to the point of giving up your life. Follow the Jesus quest of an overcomer. He has empowered you with that same quest. You are an overcomer. This is a time of testing for you. The new year which begins tomorrow is your testing ground and laboratory. Step out and let your faith take you across the finish line!
Psalm 31:23-24 (NASB) “O love the LORD, all you His godly ones! The LORD preserves the faithful and fully recompenses the proud doer. Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.” Ras Robinson
December 31, 2012. Blessings are ahead. They’re on their way and will be coming from more than one direction… from many directions and from far away. They will be in your midst before you realize it. You will be amazed, even stunned, like it is almost too good to be true. These have been in the making for a long time and it will seem that suddenly they have come but not so. The seeds have been planted all along and have been sprouting in the dark, out of sight. I have seen and heard this coming, but soon it will be time for you to see and hear. Then your heart will open wide.
Matthew 13:8-9 (NLT) “Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted! Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.” Bev Robinson
December 31, 2012. It’s time to reflect at a year gone by. Consider wonders I have done for you over the past three hundred and sixty six days. With this year being leap year, remember the leaps and bounds you and I have had together. You have increased in knowledge and wisdom like you’ve never known. We have progressed together through thick and thin times haven’t we? Through times where you thought there was no way possible, I made a way, since I am the Way. You saw My glory and splendor in ways indescribable. My peace sustained you. My joy uplifted you. My love surrounded you. Be thankful with and for Me.
Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT) “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me-everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Kevin Robinson
December 30, 2012. You have said unto Me, “I will give thanks and praise Your name forever and ever.” I have delighted in you from dawn to dusk and through the night hours on your bed. In you I have found a precious seed that I have chosen to multiply over and over again. Opportunities you will find hard to believe will appear on your horizon. Refuse to run away in awe. Instead, where is your boldness and confidence I have provided to you all your life? One thing I know about you is that you are not one to turn tail and run away. Know this, your own talents and skills will be of little value in this new time and season. My warring angel will go before you and my strong angels will protect your rear.
Psalm 30:11-12 (NASB) “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Ras Robinson
December 30, 2012. I am going to give you blessings in every arena of your life… personal, personal relationships, family relationships, professional, job, finances, health and all other arenas. There is something you need to do before you will be able to see all the blessings which are coming your way. Identify anywhere there is doubt, fear, unbelief or unforgiveness. Bring them front and center, repent and trust Me to handle them. Now get your mind centered on the reality that through Me you are righteous. Camp in this place. When other thoughts of insufficiency come, cast them away. Now you are ready to receive My goodness and blessings. Precious one, receive and begin walking in blessings.
Deuteronomy 28:2 (NASB) “All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God:” Bev Robinson
December 30, 2012. The words you use are speaking clearly about who you are. Your speech, however good it is, falls short of the promises you have made. People want to know if your words are truthful and straight. Listen to your words. Words spoken without thinking or spoken falsely spread like a wildfire. Words thrown about as if they are nothing are very dangerous. Reflect on times past. Remember how your choice of words have affected personal relationships that were important to you. Be very careful now in the present. How weighty are your words? Trust Me and obey Me in guiding your thoughts before you speak.
James 1:19-20 (AMP) “Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry. F or man’s anger does not promote the righteousness God [wishes and requires].” Kevin Robinson
December 29, 2012. God cares for you in good times and bad. He hears your cries for help and He responds. Sometimes the response is immediate. At other times, we seem to not hear but we know He will send help . Tonight, I heard the cries and screams of a small child in the night air from down our street. The child was visiting over the Christmas holidays with a parent. After hearing the child continuously cry out, I began to be concerned. Going outside and observing from a distance, I prayed for the mother and child. The child stopped crying and I believe peace came to the families involved. God hears and responds. Let My words in Scripture build your faith in Me. His love never ceases.
Numbers 20:15-16 (MSG) “Our ancestors went down to Egypt and lived there a long time. The Egyptians viciously abused both us and our ancestors. But when we cried out for help to GOD, he heard our cry. He sent an angel and got us out of Egypt. And now here we are at Kadesh, a town at the border of your land.” Ras Robinson
December 29, 2012. I am preparing you for something. You sense in your spirit something is coming. In the past you have not been willing to hear what will be coming, but there is something within you that is making you willing now. That something is Someone and that Someone is the Spirit of the living God. Now is the time you will understand and now is the time to obey what I am sending your way. Time and time again the scripture passage has come to mind about Jesus coming to earth in the fullness of time. This scripture is to prepare you for what is coming. Your fullness of time is coming soon.
Galatians 4:4-5 (NASB) “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.” Bev Robinson
December 29, 2012. It is time to change course. There are some serious alterations which need to take place in your life. Say no to the attractiveness of the same old patterns when they knock on the door of your heart. It’s easy to continue down the path with which you are familiar. Challenge yourself to go a different route whenever possible. Discover a way to test what I have put on your heart. Leave the enemy of your soul in a bewildered and confused state of mind. Performing the same activities over and over lets your heart become numb and emotionless. Let Me revolutionize your nature. Be governed by Me with every step you take.
2 Corinthians 7:10 (NLT) “For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.” Kevin Robinson
December 28, 2012. You have loved the Lord for most of your life. The Scriptures guide you and your prayers inspire you. You would consider your relationship with God as personal and intense. You have been thankful through the years for all He has done to show love and forgiveness. But lately it is as if the Lord has turned a deaf ear to your prayers. Where is He now that you so badly need Him? The Lord says, “You are My chosen one in whom I am well pleased. Your sins and shortcomings have been already covered by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross on Calvary. You have many blessings stored up. My grace is overflowing toward you. You are my special treasure.”
Psalm 28:1-2 (NLT) “I pray to you, O LORD, my rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you are silent, I might as well give up and die. Listen to my prayer for mercy as I cry out to you for help, as I lift my hands toward your holy sanctuary.” Ras Robinson
December 28, 2012. It doesn’t matter that your emotions don’t want to do My will. What matters is your will choosing, following and doing My will. I will protect your emotions. It will be like you’re in a bubble while you are choosing to do My will. Your joy will come from knowing you are obedient and from looking toward reaching your ultimate goal. I am within, beside and leading you in what is best. I would never lead you into what is not good. Precious one, stop and take stock of where you are or where you will be if you do not follow My will. This will help you make good choices.
Proverbs 8:34-36 (NASB) “Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts. For he who finds me finds life And obtains favor from the Lord. But he who sins against me injures himself; A ll those who hate me love death.” Bev Robinson
December 28, 2012. Be careful in your own personal growth as a Christian. Just because you have recognized a particular truth from My word to you, that does not give you the right to force your discovery on others . You can certainly share the revelation you have received, but don’t become a careless condemning individual. Walk in love and understanding toward others. I have been the truth from the beginning of time, but I never forced My will upon others. Walk with all the fruit of Holy Spirit. Let Him guide every word you use. Allow words of life to pour from your mouth. Constantly build each another up.
Ephesians 4:1-3 (NASB) “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Ephesians 4:29 (NASB) “Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.” Kevin Robinson
December 27, 2012. Prepare to love again more deeply. Allow My purposes to enlighten and guide your renewed love. It is not a new love I command but an ancient one that is from the beginning. Love is what drives all the good things you wish to see happen. Loyalty to that love will take you through the finish line. But, imagine that you went to your grandchild’s home, the child you have always adored. But this time you began to criticize and be mean to your grandchild. Think of how the parents, your children, would react. You might be accused of no longer loving that grandchild. I say to you, love My children, the believers with whom you have contacts and relationships. Love them as never before. Watch what happens with this sustained love. My kingdom will come among you.
Revelation 2:4 (NLT) “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!
2 John 1:5 (NLT) “I am writing to remind you, dear friends, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning.” Ras Robinson
December 27, 2012. Fresh new ideas are tumbling through your mind like they have done in times past. This is a good thing, but as in the past you know some are from Me and others just figments of your imagination. Don’t stop any of them. Let them tumble. Record them and then begin to pray and seek the ones which are from Me. This is like when someone is separating the sheep from the goats. The goats aren’t bad; they just aren’t sheep. I alone know the ideas that are from the throne room and those which just bring excitement to your mind. Don’t camp on any one idea. Ask Me for wisdom.
James 1:5-8 (NLT) “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.” Bev Robinson
December 27, 2012. An issue with which you struggle is common to many. The mindset you have is: since you fasted, prayed or did something in a certain way and got favorable results one time, you’ll do the same again and expect the same outcome. There is no formula or specific way to get what you want Me to accomplish for you. I am sovereign. My ways will come to pass at My appointed time. Continue to humble yourself and pray. Have a grateful heart. Lay foolish pride aside and see Me be glorified. Though you may get discouraged and disheartened, never cease your pursuit of Me.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NASB) “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Kevin Robinson
December 26, 2012. Time to move on to the next thing. What comes next is a lot better than what you have had so far, but you will be hesitant to take the first step in this new chapter in your life. Just as I have been with you in the past, I will continue but even closer. Leave the past behind where it belongs. Do not worry about the future. I have it all in My hand. Place your blind faith in Me and My word. Set your mind to ever look forward to what lies ahead. I am your future. Find Me while I may be found.
Philippians 3:13 (NLT) “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.” Ras Robinson
December 26, 2012. Continue the way you are going. You are beginning to doubt that you heard Me and it is causing confusion to sneak in. Keep moving forward. Don’t look back like Lot’s wife did and don’t look at the wind swept waves as Peter did. Both instances caused failure. Don’t think too far ahead. That will cause you to take steps on your own. Don’t lag behind causing fear of what is ahead. I know it is your heart to only do what I say. Begin and remain peaceful. I will tweak your steps as you go. This is going to turn out well… for your good and My glory.
Isaiah 30:21 (MLB) “When you turn, whether to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it!” Bev Robinson
December 26, 2012. Expect the unexpected. Though I am the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, I move like a feather upon the wind. Be open-minded to how I operate. Just because new things cross your path like you have never seen, heard or experienced doesn’t mean they aren’t valid and true. We as the Trinity work in mysterious ways. Though We are three, We are one. At first you couldn’t wrap your mind around that truth, yet in time you received revelation knowledge Realize the inexplicable truth of how We move. There is divine order in how We operate. We give understanding and wisdom pours forth from Us. Believe, in your heart of hearts.
Lamentations 3:22-24 (NLT) “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him! Kevin Robinson
December 25, 2012. You have not gone unnoticed in heavenly places. We know of the outpourings of the Holy Spirit in and upon your life. You are doing well. The anointing you have for ministry is also a gift the Father chose to give you. He has equipped you, prepared you and given you opportunity to minister in His name with power. Now we are noticing a strong tendency on your part for people to recognize your precious gifts we gladly gave you. Is this for your own glory that you seek recognition rather than letting Me bring it to you? Perhaps you can examine your heart. Ask and see what the Spirit will say.
Proverbs 25:14 (NASB) “Like clouds and wind without rain Is a man who boasts of his gifts falsely.” Ras Robinson
December 25, 2012. A stream is flowing in your midst. You haven’t known it was there but slowly the eyes of your heart are being opened and, wow there it is. This is My stream of possibility and blessing. You are beginning to see it now, but others right by your side can’t see it because it’s not the right time for them. They will see it later. You’ll think to yourself that maybe you are being melodramatic. You aren’t. Believe Me, you aren’t. You have just entered into a new place of deeper understanding. You don’t fully understand it yet, but that’s okay. Enjoy what you do understand. Bigger and better things are coming.
Ezekiel 47:9 (NASB) “It will come about that every living creature which swarms in every place where the river goes, will live. And there will be very many fish, for these waters go there and the others become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.” Bev Robinson
December 25, 2012. I came as a gift from My Father. With love and in love, I was sent from the heavenly realm into the innocence of a virgin. She received the news from Gabriel, unbelievable words. She believed with childlike faith the good news of My coming. Will you receive My words of life, light, and liberty? You have been chosen like Mary was selected. You have been hesitant to receive Me and My Lordship in your life. Have faith to believe you’ve been chosen to receive the comprehensive fullness of Me. Receive Me with gladness in your heart of hearts. See yourself grow each day as an adult into maturity with childlike faith.
Luke 16:16-18 (NLT) “Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Kevin Robinson
December 24, 2012. Your head houses your brain. This is where thinking takes place. It is also the entry (gate) for My presence. My presence is the very face of God. When you open your gate(s), O how you will see, hear, feel, smell and taste. God says, “This is what you have been waiting for, but now that it is here, you are a bit reluctant. These things cause your heart to open up. With it you can lift off the hindrances that keep you from receiving the ultimate prize, the King of glory entering with His presence. Your mind and heart are your tickets to a front row seat to experience the coming into your life of the King of glory. Brace yourself and do not hesitate.”
Psalm 24:7 (NKJV) “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.” Ras Robinson
December 24, 2012. Now is the time of fulfillment of a prophecy which had been given earlier. Walk into this with no trepidation. This is the time I have ordained. Keep your eyes and ears on Me. I will lead all involved if all of you will trust Me and follow. Yes there will be a time of testing to let it be known what is in hearts. Don’t succumb to any doubts or fears. The enemy wants everyone to become discouraged. Satan wants everyone to fold and fade away like it never happened. But it has happened and now will be established according to My ways. Stay committed and walk in great faith.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NASB) “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven-“ Bev Robinson
December 24, 2012. On a night like tonight some two-thousand years ago, the heavens were set alight like never before. A star beamed so bright it lit up the atmosphere. It directed its light with pinpoint accuracy the truest light the world has ever known. By my divine design I was sent to illuminate a world of darkness. In like manner you were predestined to brighten up the world which surrounds you. Allow my brilliant brightness to shine on Me at all times. Lift up your head to the heavens and see My glorious splendor. Magnify Me, My light with spot-on accuracy whenever and wherever you go. Be a beam to direct people to Me.
John 8:12 (NIV) “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Kevin Robinson
December 23, 2012. Two of your sons have made you abundantly glad in recent days. Each has chosen, for altogether different reasons, to seriously humble themselves before you. At first your heart was saddened but then you saw the hand of the Lord in all this. Here are two great men of our day, coming to a place of confessing their shortcomings and then asking for your help. God has impressed you to put your shoulder together with everything you have behind the two awesome men. Your selfishness and much of your spontaneous life pleasure will need to take a rest while you give of yourself. The Lord says, “I am with you to the end and beyond. You have chosen well and I will bless all three of you.”
Proverbs 23:15-16 (NASB) “My son, if your heart is wise, My own heart also will be glad; and my inmost being will rejoice When your lips speak what is right.” Ras Robinson
December 23, 2012. Thoughts of comparison with others and coming up short have tried to attack you time and time again. This has happened in cycles almost all of your life. The reason is, your enemy Satan wants to do anything to keep you from living in victory and helping others do the same. Don’t get bogged down by negatives. Make them reveal themselves and show you who the real culprit behind them is. Get these negative thoughts into the open by shining My light in every nook and cranny. I have called you an overcomer and one who is more than a conqueror. I have planned good for you since before you were born.
Psalms 22:9-10 (NASB) “Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb; You made me trust when upon my mother’s breasts. Upon You I was cast from birth; You have been my God from my mother’s womb.” Bev Robinson
December 23, 2012. You are a song . Your total existence is wrapped up in making music to Me. You were created for worship. See how everything you do is a melody to My ears. I love to see your total abandonment to the things of this world. Hear the music all around you. All creation makes a tune for Me. The flowers open and close at the sound of My voice. The air moves at the wave of My hand. The trees sway to My rhythm. The birds sing joyfully to Me. You are My finest creation. Harmonize with Me and those around you with new songs in how you live and move.
Colossians 3:16-17 (NIV) “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Kevin Robinson
December 22, 2012. Stress is not good. It is the enemy of peace of mind. Think of yourself as a fine automobile engine. Carbon build up hinders peak performance. A well maintained engine can last indefinitely. While lasting a long time, it also performs at its best, giving to you reward and pleasure. Set your mind and will to show yourself conformed to His will. Be at peace and the Lord will reward you with great prosperity in the critical areas of your life. Resist having your own agenda with the Lord. Give it up; walk away from self-designed plans. Thereby peace and prosperity will be yours forevermore. God has created and fashioned you for your good and His pleasure.
Job 22:21 (AMP) “Acquaint now yourself with Him [agree with God and show yourself to be conformed to His will] and be at peace; by that [you shall prosper and great] good shall come to you.” Ras Robinson
December 22, 2012. A new phase has begun. It is not evident now, but nevertheless it has started. It will be recognized later and then realized that this was the time it began. New ideas will come forth; some good and some very good. Others won’t be able to be used at all. Nothing about this makes any sense at this present time. But later you will see by looking back that this was the time when things really began to start flourishing abundantly. The stance you need to take now is one of peace. This has been in the works for a long time. My plans have been waiting for the right time.
Ephesians 1:9-10 (ESV) “… making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” Bev Robinson
December 22, 2012. Let everything you do be a reflection of Me. You are My representative. Be about being warm and loving in a cold, calloused and emotionless world. Allow the light of My Father’s presence beam through your countenance, your non-verbal and verbal communication and throughout your whole being. Permit Me to be Me through you. Your spirit is the area I’m speaking too. Lay down your will and see My will accomplished through you. Make the daily choice to yield to My way of doing things. Lay your life down in all you do. Stand back and see My glory revealed like you’ve never known. My mind and character is yours.
Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Kevin Robinson
December 21, 2012. Open your eyes and see the wonders I am doing. You have found profound favor in My sight. It is not because of your lineage, your intellect or achievements. It is because your heart has settled in upon those things most important to Me. With specific intention, you are walking in harmony as one with Me. I have examined your heart from which flow the issues of life. You have not hesitated to help the poor, helpless and disadvantaged. A tender and giving heart is a high prize that very few attain. Your failures and sufferings have humbled you. Your highest aim is for the Kingdom of God to come among mankind. You and I are in agreement.
Genesis 13:14-17 (MSG) “After Lot separated from him, GOD said to Abram, ‘Open your eyes and look around. Look north, south, east, and west. Everything you see, the whole land spread out before you, I will give to you and your children forever. I’ll make your descendants like dust-counting your descendants will be as impossible as counting the dust of the Earth. So-on your feet, get moving! Walk through the country, its length and breadth; I’m giving it all to you.'” Ras Robinson
December 21, 2012. I came into the world with the pronouncement of peace on those with whom I am pleased. Remember that and do what needs to be done to maintain the peace which I established. Time is short this side of the goal. Make your actions count. Think ahead and think of all the things that must be done to make the event a success. Put the necessary things first, and let the unimportant fall as they may. I have called you to peace. You will have more peace if you do what I say. The celebration of the event is not as important as the people at the event. Operate in peace.
Luke 2:14 (NIV) “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” Bev Robinson
December 21, 2012. Do as I have done, what I am doing and what I will do in the future. In the midst of a storm I was at rest. Though those around Me were operating in fear, fright and stricken with panic, I was relaxed and did not worry in the middle of a squall. I have given you the wonderful mind you have. Use it wisely and remain in a tranquil state. Learn how to stay calm in the center of chaos. Let your dependence be placed in Me and not on your swirling situation. Know My peace. Embrace My peace. Speak My peace for yourself to hear and rest in it.
Mark 4:38-40 (NIV) “Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Kevin Robinson
December 20, 2012. Your godliness is being watched by your family and offspring. The Lord has chosen you as His vessel, filling you with glory and light. Surely you have noticed that even people in public places glance and look at you. Not to worry. They are seeing Me in you and they are fascinated. This is your open door to share why the glory and light shines through your face and eyes. They see the glow and gravitate to you. Now let your integrity of heart emanate with that glory and light. I will use you as my surgical instrument to cleanse and heal the broken hearted. Your walk of integrity will bless generations. I love and am so proud of you.
Proverbs 20:7 (NLT) “The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.” Ras Robinson
December 20, 2012. A wakeup call is coming. It has been coming from afar for a long time and will soon manifest itself. This is a good thing, but at first it will rock your boat because you are still lingering with some vestiges of the past. You have held them close really not knowing how to process them. You have thought you will never allow yourself to be in that place again. But this is not the attitude I want you to have. Come to the place where you will have ultimate trust restored. You will always have the memory but I want you to let go of the emotions which accompany the memory.
Mark 4:38-40 (NLT) “Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the water, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Bev Robinson
December 20, 2012. You’re looking for answers. You have left no stone unturned and yet you still haven’t found the replies or responses for which you have looked. Listen to Me and to Me alone. Can you, actually will you, slow down long enough to hear My still small voice? My speech is exceptionally clear and always on time. Don’t jump to conclusions. Just because you have heard Me in some similar matter does not mean the same answer will apply to what you are experiencing now. It is much like reading My word. Every time you read the same passage it has a different meaning. Listen and pay close attention to Me.
1 Samuel 3:8-10 (NKJV) “And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. So he arose and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you did call me.” Then Eli perceived that the Lord had called the boy. Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.'” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.” Kevin Robinson
December 19, 2012. Do you ever think about rewards in this life and in Heaven for what you have done for the Lord? One person I know and love says that he works every day with his promised rewards in mind. Are you this way? Or do you serve and sacrifice without thought of what you will be rewarded in the end? The Lord says, “Keep your eye on the high prize of following close after Jesus. Bear your own cross. Endure shame, ridicule and whatever else the flesh and world may bring your way. Be like Jesus, keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus as the author and finisher of your faith. Be encouraged.”
Hebrews 12:2-3 (MSG) “Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed-that exhilarating finish in and with God-he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!” Ras Robinson
December 19, 2012. You are right in many cases, but not in all cases. I see it is hard for you to admit when you’re wrong. But when you do admit it, I listen. And then work with you on getting it right. It is good to be right, but always be open with Me that you may be wrong. Admitting it doesn’t make you a lesser person. In fact it makes you a wiser person. Humility is the pathway to being right. Instead of needing to be right cultivate being humble. Being right is not the ultimate I have made you in right standing with Me. This is what makes you right.
Luke 18:14 (NLT) “I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Bev Robinson
December 19, 2012. Because of some tense, stressful and burdening situations, you have lost your ability to laugh. Find a way to turn loose of situations you’re battling and hand the reigns over to Me. The ride you’ve been on has worn you out. Take time to escape to a more contented and happier side of life. For your good health, it is essential for you to find the fun-loving and cheerful side of Me. Can you see My salvation for you in the turmoil and chaos? Let your heart understand the joy you bring Me. My brother James got it right; he understood the principle of counting it all joy in everything. Choose happiness.
Genesis 21:6 (NASB ) “Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh with me.”
Job 8:21 (NASB) “He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouting”
James 1:2-4 (NASB) “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” Kevin Robinson
December 18, 2012. Do not let it be said of you that you talk just to hear yourself talk. Where there are many words, sin cannot be avoided. Do you like to be the one in a group who always has a ready answer to every question or situation? The Lord says, “I am not here to judge you. I am here to insure that the devil does not steal you blind and seek your failures. Allow me to teach you how to build up, stir up and cheer up the glorious saint I have made you to be. Cease from trying to make yourself significant when only I can do that. I love you the way you are. Allow Me to teach you a better way my child.”
Proverbs 18:2, 7, 20-21 (NASB) “A fool does not delight in understanding, But only in revealing his own mind. A fool’s mouth is his ruin, And his lips are the snare of his soul. With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Ras Robinson
December 18, 2012. Understanding escapes you concerning what is really going on. Yet it is a mystery not worth investigating. Say enough that will help those involved come to their senses, but in actuality this is something they must work out. The one who is behind all the confusion is Satan. Conflict continues to reign because maturity has walked out the door. It would have been so much simpler and easier to have talked and prayed it through earlier. Pray it’s not like pulling teeth with no anesthesia. Your assignment is to love, correct and pray. I have great things ahead. Thus, this is the reason for the present conflict.
Luke 17:3 (MSG) “Be alert. If you see your friend going wrong, correct him. If he responds, forgive him.” Bev Robinson
December 18, 2012. To yourself be true. In the midst of all circumstances, allow Holy Spirit to shine through you. An easy route would be to go with the flow or hang with the crowd. Dare to be different. Allow Me to be spot-on by the way you live and move. Let My glory and majesty be revealed by your obedience and submission to what I say. I did nothing of My own will; instead I yielded to My Father’s perfect will and plan. Making right decisions through My pinpoint exactness is yours for the taking. Within you is all of Me. Always be true to yourself and Me. Live a life of righteousness.
2 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT) “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.” Kevin Robinson
December 17, 2012. O to be as a little child! This is pleasing to the Lord. This past weekend, we had most of our family and some of our extended family visit us. Being one who enjoys children, I delighted in watching our several children play. They shared one thing in common. They wanted to be as close to their loving parents as possible. One or more got hurt while playing. Each ran to their parents for consolation and comfort, one in tears. After a few moments, they sprang forth again to play. God says, “Run to Me. I will protect and comfort you because I love you forever. Like a child, stay close.”
Psalm 17:7-8 (NKJV) “Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You from those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings” Ras Robinson
December 17, 2012. News will come about something which you know very little about. Through the passage of time you have learned more and more about this, but you still do not know a lot. You will have a choice whether to let it affect you negatively or positively. This is something you need to spend time thinking and praying through. If you don’t, it will later come back to haunt you. I bring up things at the right time. I bring things to your attention when you are best equipped to handle the matters. You have successfully done things like this before and now, precious one, it is time to do it again.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (NASB) “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. Bev Robinson
December 17, 2012. Take the necessary measures into your own hands to disciple someone new in the faith. I have already put an individual in your pathway and you are aware of the need to mentor the person who has great potential. Someone took the time and effort to do the same with you. Take time to realize the commitment you are making. Don’t take your role lightly. People like the one you will be taking responsibility for are watching and listening to what you say and do. The individuals ahead of you are definitely worth your undivided attention. Let your dependence be upon Me and not yourself during this precious time.
Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT) “Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Kevin Robinson
December 16, 2012. Terror keeps getting closer and closer to and eventually in our homes. During these times when unbelievable evil is manifesting across our globe, just know that God knows all about it and will use it for good. Such terror is part of the devil’s tools but He (God) works them for our good. You have heard it said, “God will cause something good to come out of this.” Have you lived long enough and experienced life over the years in terrible situations that seemed hopeless, only to find ultimate good at the end? Our God is redemptive in all things, using each of them to draw souls to salvation. Wise was the jailer who in panic cried out “What must I do to be saved?” Does your whole household know Jesus as Savior?
Acts 16:30-34 (NASB) “…and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They said, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.’ And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house. And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household. And he brought them into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, having believed in God with his whole household.” Ras Robinson
December 16, 2012. Guilty thoughts reside in corners of your mind and when the right time occurs they creep out front and center. On occasions when you hear of similar circumstances that you were in, they race to the front center with their condemnation. Don’t entertain these rascals at all or they will gladly take up more than a corner. They will wallow out for themselves a larger place and set up shop to take over whenever the time is right. You think it too easy to confess them to Me and tell the other one or someone else you regret your actions, then change. But do it anyway precious one. It works.
Luke 15:21-23 (MSG) “The son started his speech: ‘Father, I’ve sinned against God, I’ve sinned before you; I don’t deserve to be called your son ever again.’ “But the father wasn’t listening. He was calling to the servants, ‘Quick. Bring a clean set of clothes and dress him. Put the family ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Then get a grain-fed heifer and roast it. We’re going to feast! Bev Robinson
December 16, 2012. I have given you a very precise, distinct and powerful plan to use. Remember I am the one who placed the ability within you to hear and see Me, and allow My plans come to fruition. The ideas you have aren’t absurd or ridiculous. Don’t wait upon others to take the initiative for devaluing the enemy. Your adversary mocks and tries to imitate to the best of his ability of what little he knows. Like weeds which grow up mimicking the original plant they’re in close proximity to. He does the same as weeds do. Recognize his mockery and speak My shed blood to squelch his evil deceptive lies. Initiate My initiative.
Colossians 1:28 (AMP) “Him we preach and proclaim, warning and admonishing everyone and instructing everyone in all wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God), that we may present every person mature (full-grown, fully initiated, complete, and perfect) in Christ (the Anointed One).” Kevin Robinson
December 15, 2012. If you were on your death bed and a younger family person or friend came to you and asked, “How does one live life the fullest while honoring the Lord and neighbors?” What would be your answer? Can you imagine how many answers one could give and each is an appropriate answer? God never asks a question to which He does not have the perfect answer. He answers our question here and it is written below from Scripture. Your answer needs to be based squarely in God’s word but also in the truth of human experience and wisdom. This is something you need to know and be convinced in your knower. Pass it on.
Psalm 15:1-4 (MSG) “GOD, who gets invited to dinner at your place? How do we get on your guest list? Walk straight, act right, tell the truth. Don’t hurt your friend, don’t blame your neighbor; despise the despicable. Keep your word even when it costs you. Ras Robinson
December 15, 2012. Throughout my life God has brought things up that he wants me to change, or remove or for Him to heal. At the time I usually don’t want to but he doesn’t let me off. He brings it around again. “There is something I have brought up for you to change. It would be so much simpler for you to obey. I bring it up at the time that is best for change. Take stock of where you are and what you are doing to see the problems that have occurred when you did not heed My instruction to you. Others have told you this needs changing. Don’t put it off. Child, do it now.
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 (NASB) “But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil.” Bev Robinson
December 15, 2012. You are stuck in a wheel rut. Much like those who have traveled the road before them, you too got wedged in the same tracks as your predecessors. It’s a common supposition the majority of people have which states, “well everybody else has done it.” Even so, does that pattern make it right? When the opportunity arises, take a parallel path set apart from the group and observe from a different point of view. Doing the same thing over and over and getting continuing to get poor results is very disheartening. To try something new and having failure is better than not trying at all and not knowing what the results might have been.
Titus 2:7-8 (NLT) “And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.” Kevin Robinson
December 14, 2012. You have been thinking, thinking and thinking. This is monotonous and tiresome. It usually ends in frustration because it is flesh and world based. Little comes from it because you should be spending that time in prayer. That same amount of time in prayer will be blessed and rewarded. Set your mind on things above. Think on My promises to you throughout Scripture. Pray about the beauty and blessings of your eternal home in Heaven. Pray about joining in with all the praises in Heaven at the altar and presence of the Lord. Rejoice that you will have a new body and will be part of Jesus’ reigning on the earth and defeating the devil and all his demons. Fill your mouth and mind with thankfulness. It is a great day, every day. Rejoice and be glad.
Colossians 3:1-3 (MSG) “So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ-that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life-even though invisible to spectators-is with Christ in God. He is your life.” Ras Robinson
December 14, 2012. Something you feel like you have no influence in needs your help. Right under your nose something is happening which is not beneficial. This is a warning, not a rebuke. You haven’t failed. Stay alert. Check what is going on at random times. Let one time be very soon and then often. You aren’t alone. I have given this warning to others for the wellbeing of many. This is an important time, because the enemy is trying to come in and steal something which I have given. Satan strives to do this on the sly like the proverbial frog placed in water and then the heat is turned up gradually.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NASB) “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.” Bev Robinson
December 14, 2012. Stand up. Move forward and approach the edge. Ever since you were small you have been intrigued with the unusual and peculiar perspective which most people do not recognize. I have formed you to be this way. You have been told that you think outside the box. In your mind, your perception is you don’t fit into the regular mold. I created you as you are. Be bold and pursue your calling. You have the ability to see much deeper into spiritual matters than the norm. Live on the edge. Push any obstructions aside and take My ways with you further than you have ever gone. Be proactive in advancing My kingdom.
Joshua 1:6 (NLT) “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.” Kevin Robinson
December 13, 2012. Jesus wants to resonate through you just as He did following His resurrection. Mary and some other women were the first to see Him, but did not recognize Him. Eight days later Jesus appeared to His fearful disciples, having walked through the wall of the room in which they were hiding. How? The mystery of it carries a message. Quantum physics suggests that Jesus could have become the same frequency as the wall so that He just walked through it and appeared to His disciples. He found something that resonated exactly with Him and He walked through it. I believe that today God allowed me to resonate with Jesus so that a doctor treating me could see Jesus and feel His love and power. Let someone see and experience Jesus through you today. It will change everyone and everything.
John 20:26 (NASB) “After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus *came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.” Ras Robinson
December 13, 2012. You’ve been thinking about some things you don’t need to be thinking about. You know negative thinking is not good for you. So cut it off before it gets settled in your mind and emotions. Replace the negative thought with thoughts of thanksgiving and get ready for a big change because some big time good news is coming. It’s about something you haven’t thought about in a long time. All news isn’t completely good but neither is it bad, rather it’s just very essential information. Take account of what you will learn. It won’t seem important at the time, but later you will see the reason you need to know.
Luke 2:19-20 (NASB) “But Mary treasured all these things, pondering them in her heart. The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.” Bev Robinson
December 13, 2012. Since you’ve had difficulty finding answers from Me, you’ve all but given up. I had the same opportunity when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. I had a bigger plan though. I sent My Son as the Savior and Redeemer for you. I never had the inclination to throw My plans away and neither should you. Although you’ve had difficulty finding Me, I have never left you as you suppose. When in doubt, quickly return to the last place you heard Me. Continue with those thoughts until I direct you elsewhere. Never stop searching for Me. Diligence in your pursuit of Me will pay wonderful dividends.
2 John 1:8-9 (NLT) “Watch out that you do not lose what wehave worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward. Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.” Kevin Robinson
December 12, 2012. Today the calendar date is 12-12-12. It is the only time in this century it will occur. This distinctive date is especially important this year in light of other prophetic data and revelation. Some meanings of the number 12 suggest authority, completion, order and government. Twelve is the product of multiplying 3 (the perfectly divine and heavenly number) and 4 (the earthly, the number of what is material and organic). Heaven and earth make up our eternal existence as Christians. More important for daily living is that that God’s message for the rest of the December days is that you should be clearly committed under God’s designated authority for you. Find God’s order and government for you. Allow Jesus, as Lord, to direct your path.
Acts 1:7-8 (AMP) “He said to them, It is not for you to become acquainted with and know what time brings [the things and events of time and their definite periods] or fixed years and seasons (their critical niche in time), which the Father has appointed (fixed and reserved) by His own choice and authority and personal power. But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.” Ras Robinson
December 12, 2012. Don’t go into an upcoming event without preparation. Not that you are to sit down and prepare a dossier, but be on guard for misinterpretations. Stay on alert. Don’t be suspicious of the people but of the devil. He wants to muddy the water at any opportunity. He usually doesn’t do that with people you are rarely with. It is most often with people who are the closest to you. When something happens among people with whom you are seldom around you cast it away as not important. But those you are close to affect you emotionally. Keep Me as your focus but keep the devil in the corner of your eye.
1 Peter 5:8 (AMP) “Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [ in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.” Bev Robinson
December 12, 2012. Inconsistency has plagued you and the roller coaster you’re on seems to keep going without end. Satan has you believing you’re the only one who struggles with the ups and downs of life. Your perception is that you are the only one who struggles with completing tasks set before you. In principle, you’re more than half-way to your goal. At least you’re able to recognize your impasse. Write down your goals and prioritize them. Place your confidence in Me for those goals to come to fruition according to My will. Trust Me to give you clarity.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NLT) “Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” Kevin Robinson
December 11, 2012. Someone is cutting corners with their integrity. There is none perfect except Jesus. Being perfect in your natural life on the earth is not the issue. What is at issue is that God has given to you as a believer the status of righteousness. With that, He has deemed you full of His integrity in your heart and spirit. You always know the right things to do and not do. But you must walk daily in His integrity. Work on simple honesty, making sure your words are resonating from His truth. Do not be guilty of taking advantage of people who look to you as God’s minister. Never take things that are not yours. Remember that God has made you righteous. Live it.
Proverbs 10:9 (NASB). “He who walks in integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will be found out.” Ras Robinson
December 11, 2012. Once when we were in severe financial straits, someone contacted a family member to let them know when we were gone and to help them get into our garage. They put food in our freezer and we did not know it until I opened the freezer. That was some time ago and until this day I do not know who helped or who put the food there. What good thoughts and feelings it brings because I have suspected everyone. “Have you heard Me in reading what has been written. Go spread good deeds to many. Go, precious one, and give with no one knowing, who, when or why.” Spread My goodness.”
Matthew 6:3-4 (NLT). “But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” Bev Robinson
December 11, 2012. Speak life to dry bones. Bitterness, frustration, and resentment have drained life from the marrow of people’s hearts and minds. Some individuals around you are seeking some small sliver of life. Within you are My words of hope, joy and deliverance. Speak life into dry and arid situations of people. Some of those individuals just can’t take another setback before they slip into deeper depression. Dry bones are easy to recognize; they’re desperate for a drink and quite fragile. Recognise those people who are dry around you and water them with My word. My life giving blood flows through you so be a lifeline. Speak to dry bones to live again.
Ezekiel 37:4-6 (NLT) “Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh andmuscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.'” Kevin Robinson
December 10, 2012. Why do you minister, pastor or give yourself to care for others? Be very careful of your motives for love, kindness and ministry. Some have a supernatural ability to draw people to themselves. They must be careful not to “expect” from those God sends them. Be a blessing to them because God has called you to do so. Try to never think of what is in it for you or for how you can befriend someone for your personal gain. This ministry in which you find yourself is of God according to His will. He wants to be Lord of your motives in ministry. Refuse to seek personal gain unless God has specifically called and willed it to be so. Do not presume or feed upon God’s precious sheep.
Psalm 10:17-18 (NLT) “LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mere people can no longer terrify them.” Ras Robinson
December 10, 2012. There are things you don’t want to do. Won’t there always be things you don’t want to do? Go ahead and get those things out of the way and then get to the things you do want to do. This is a way of life. I experienced that while on earth. Surely you don’t think I always jumped at the chance to do everything My father said. But you know? I did it anyway. Deep down I knew My Father was right, but I was tempted just as you are not to do the right thing. I left you an example to follow. Now take up your cross and follow Me.
Hebrews 2:17-18 (NASB) “Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted. Bev Robinson
December 10, 2012. Broadcast My brilliance wherever you are. Within your core is the radiant glory of My presence. It’s like you have a nuclear reactor contained in the depths of your soul. Only I am far greater in power than any manufactured power source. My sovereignty inside you is for all those around you, including yourself, to see and experience. Be very wise in your use of Holy Spirit whom you’re surrounded by. Get in tune with My wisdom. Tap into the wellspring of My clear, intense, and vivid presence when the opportunity arises. Be a good steward of all the things I have and am entrusting you with. You’re light and life.
Luke 11:36 (NLT) “If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.” Kevin Robinson
December 9, 2012. Living in reconciliation is a lot of what life on this earth is about. But the need for humbling yourself to get reconciled can be a stumbling block. When you learn that your spouse, best friend, other family member or church member has something against you, you must immediately seek the Lord as to how, when and where you are to seek reconciliation. Paul writes about how Christ coming into us results in our becoming new creations. All the old has passed away and all things have become new. Now it is incumbent upon you to make things right with others. Ultimately, your new duty is to earnestly seek reconciliation between the lost and Christ. This is the ultimate reconciliation. Through humility and being led by the Spirit, seek comprehensive reconciliation as long as it is called today.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NASB) “Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” Ras Robinson
December 9, 2012. There is something I want you to know with certainty. I will get you through the strange place you are in. You haven’t been at this exact spot before and you aren’t sure what you should do to get out or through it. Do the same thing you did before but in a different way. What is doing the same thing but differently you say? The first thing is total and complete surrender and trust in Me. This is the main thing that will bring you peace. If you do it now you will avert a lot of pain . I will lead you through step by step. Don’t dare look back.
Genesis19:26 (HCSB) “But his wife looked back and became a pillar of salt.” Bev Robinson
December 9, 2012. In the past, negative situations have escalated against you and have caught your emotions by surprise. Your response hasn’t been very favorable then and the end result has left a large wake of destruction by way of hurt feelings for yourself and others as well. Today is a new day. Decide at this moment not to live there anymore. Both Satan and your flesh want to rear their ugly head despite the transformation in your innermost being. Make every attempt possible not to talk about the troubling past, rather do something about it. Make the choice to remain calm, cool, and collected when turmoil rises. Live a makeover life.
Psalm 27:14 (NLT) “Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.” Kevin Robinson
December 8, 2012. Yesterday, I wanted to take my wife to see a movie. We chose one with an actor we particularly like. The ads on television made the movie seem exciting and adventuresome. But in watching no more than 15 minutes of the film, we heard and saw some of the most disgusting and disgraceful scenes and words you can imagine. The humanity of people, especially young women, was debauched and corrupted. We agreed we had enough if not too much and walked out of the theater. S adly, this kind of film is very popular today. I will never attempt to reveal the particulars because it does not need to be communicated to decent people. The eyes of man are never satisfied. Choose well what goes into your eye and ear gate. Run it by the Lord first.
Proverbs 27:20 (NKJV) “Hell and Destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.” Ras Robinson
December 8, 2012. Something has been revealed which is unsettling. You are praying about what to do. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Similar revelations have happened before. The challenge before you is: what do you need to do? There are two old songs you heard sung as a child that keep playing in your head. “Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me” and “Fools Rush In Where Angels Fear To Tread.” These tunes are from Me and are declaring My wisdom and instruction. Listen to them and act on what you hear. Acting or not acting at the right time is the way of Jesus. Do as He did.
John 12:49-50 (NLT) “I don’t speak on my own authority. T he Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.” Bev Robinson
December 8, 2012. All too often, you have been reluctant to join in with others in My movements. Don’t allow guilt or remorse to prevent your progress from occurring. Past negative experiences can keep you bound up and hinder you from experiencing the fullness of what I offer. Don’t play the shame game. Everyone has missteps on the path of life. The key is to realign yourself with what I am doing. Like the child who falls off a bicycle when first learning to ride, it is critical to get up quickly and get back on the bicycle in order to learn. Don’t be a quitter. Don’t let your flesh steal blessings anymore.
Galatians 6:8-9 (NLT) “Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Kevin Robinson
December 7, 2012. For the past three days, my eyes have suddenly been brightened. I am seeing physical things as if they are all brand new. The floors and walls in our house are altogether pretty, especially our tile floors. The furniture seems new and different. I find myself thinking, “what am I doing living in such a nice house as this (we have lived here for almost 40 years)?’ Suddenly I am abundantly and expressly grateful for every little thing. My wife is more lovely than she has ever been (she has always been cute and beautiful). My eyes are physically getting weaker as I grow older and my accuracy in little things is not up to my par. But it is as if I have eaten of the honey that Saul’s son Jonathan ate. My eyes have been brightened. Thank you Lord. Would you like some honey of the Holy Spirit?
1 Samuel 14:27 (KJV) “But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.” Ras Robinson
December 7, 2012. I had a dream of a forest fire raging burning everything up to a log house. But some of the roof was burned. The Lord said, “Beverly this is not about you. There is someone who has gone through and is still somewhat in a terrible firestorm. They are making it without burning up but their spiritual life and understanding has and is taking a beating. Some of their faith has been overcome by what has happen. Pray for their faith to be restored. Pray that they will be thankful and focus on the good in their house which is still standing. Friend is that you? I am praying.
Ephesians 6:16-18 (MSG) “Faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.” Bev Robinson
December 7, 2012. Since every word written in the Bible is inspired by Me, wrap your mind around this fact. Every part of your mind, will and emotions is inspired by Me as well. You were known from the foundation of the world. I created you in your mother’s womb. You were designed from the beginning to worship and adore Me. When you feel stirred within your innermost being to read My word or pray, those thoughts all originate from Me. I am very enthused to see you move and have your being. You bring Me so much joy with your very existence. Your Father delights in you. Rejoice in all you do.
2 Corinthians 8:7 (NASB) “But just as you abound in everything, in faith and utterance and knowledge and in all earnestness and in the love we inspired in you, see that you abound in this gracious work also.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NASB) “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” Kevin Robinson
December 6, 2012. My mother taught me, “Don’t let your good be spoken of as evil. Give secretly and serve without being noticed when possible. Never take credit for yourself for things you have done.” She was quite the gardener. Her roses were beautiful along with daisies, petunias and many other varieties. Her friends and neighbors came to admire and “Mama” would gladly give. I saw some offer to pay for especially pretty ones. To my knowledge she never accepted the money. Yet we were a family who could have used some extra income. Mama was a faithful giver but ever and always so discreetly. The Lord cautions his children to not be a show off in their giving and their deeds. Read carefully and prayerfully the following.
Matthew 6:1-4 (MSG) “Be especially careful when you are trying to be good so that you don’t make a performance out of it. It might be good theater, but the God who made you won’t be applauding. When you do something for someone else, don’t call attention to yourself. You’ve seen them in action, I’m sure-‘playactors’ I call them-treating prayer meeting and street corner alike as a stage, acting compassionate as long as someone is watching, playing to the crowds. They get applause, true, but that’s all they get. When you help someone out, don’t think about how it looks.Just do it-quietly and unobtrusively. That is the way your God, who conceived you in love, working behind the scenes, helps you out.” Ras Robinson
December 6, 2012. When you get through what you are going through you think all will be good. This is erroneous thinking. This is not realistic. There is always something in life where you must trust Me. Yes this is a hard thing you are going through but is not the last thing. Trust Me right now with the whole thing. You heard the Scripture that says “going from glory to glory.” This is true, but to get from glory to glory means I show Myself strong on your behalf when you go through one challenge after another. So why not relieve yourself of stress at all times by rolling all things over on Me.
Romans 9:23 (NLT) “He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those to whom he shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory.” Bev Robinson
December 6, 2012. Friends stick together through thick and thin times. The question is how friendly are you to your friends. How is the give and take meter between to two of you? The things shared among the two of you are priceless. For those friends which time and distance have come between, consider taking the initiative to start fresh and new. If small ripples and rifts have separated you, let Me guide you in steps of restoration. Tough times don’t last forever, but tough friends should. You have a mighty ally with your friends. Stick together with them like peanut butter and jelly. Treasure the gift I have placed before you My friend.
John 15:13-15 (NKJV) “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.” Kevin Robinson
December 5, 2012. As My child, I love you no matter what. You are living in a state of constant forgiveness of all sins and grace for your future. You are blessed if you have this revelation of your Father’s love. Many do not realize the grace in which they stand with Me. I understand that only Jesus was perfect in all His ways. He is the standard by which we believe, repent, move and have our being. In My eyes He could do no wrong. Neither can you when you come before My throne of grace. Please continue coming! My grace is like the arms of an earthly father when he lovingly puts his arm around you and says, “Everything is alright in the father’s house.” I do the same.
Numbers 6:22-27 (NKJV) “And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: ‘Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: ‘The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.'” “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” Ras Robinson
December 5, 2012. Think of Me as quickly as you can in the morning. Bring thoughts to your mind of my goodness, like the many times I have come along side you and gotten you through the hard things you were going through. Do this time and time again. You will be amazed at what happens. I am there with you all the time whether you know it or not, but it is so much better if you know and remember Me. I know your life is busy with many things but don’t forget your first love. Make Me your first love in all you do and life will be better. You will see.
Revelation 2:2-4 (NIV) “I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.” Bev Robinson
December 5, 2012. It’s easy to fall into the pit of “poor ‘ol me” isn’t it. You fall into the trap which Satan so craftily lays out for you. You have encountered one setback after another and the next thing you’ve found is your whole world is in disarray and falling apart. You confess to others your shortcomings and they join in telling you of their misery and gloom as well. Choose to remember the good times you and I have had together. Begin confessing Me in all things. Decide right now at this moment to make your dwelling place in Me and not in your circumstances. Remember Me and how I overcame.
Revelation 12:11 (AMP) “And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].” Kevin Robinson
December 4, 2012. You have gotten into a bad patch of life unexpectedly. It was possible for you to anticipate, but you somehow missed seeing it coming. Now you are in a fix without many escape routes. You are beginning to feel like a person without faith. The Lord says, “Reach deep within your heart and find My faith hidden there for just such a time as this. Look to the Scriptures and to history for those who were overcomers. All of your great fathers in the faith had their share of bad patches. You know their names today because they learned endurance to tough out such bumps and patches. I have made them known to you for this purpose.”
James 1:2-4 (NASB) “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” Ras Robinson
December 4, 2012. There are so many ideas going through your mind. You need to begin to filter out some of the ones which do not apply to the specific situation before you. If you don’t do it soon, indecision is going to take over and you certainly don’t need that. Some of the things you have thought about seem really not applicable. Let those fade away first. Then get down to the matter at hand. You have to make a decision even if you are not absolutely sure it is the right one. If it isn’t and you trust Me to handle the outcome you are covered and nothing bad will happen.
Job 22:28 (AMP) “You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.” Bev Robinson
December 4, 2012. Dreams are very fascinating. One of the many powerful things I’ve learned from my wonderful mom is that the majority of dreams are tied to some realm of issues I am dealing with personally. Even though other characters are in my dream, those individuals represent a part of my personality. T he challenge has been, how do I ascertain the scope of what God is revealing to me? The Lord says, “I am continually enlightening you with My magnificence and brilliance. Whether it’s through dreams, visions or signs and wonders, look deeply into Me and My revelation. Let redemption, healing and freedom be brought forth to you in the mysterious ways I choose.”
Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Kevin Robinson
December 3, 2012. Rejoice with everlasting joy. We feed hungry children who may not have eaten any food all day or for a few days. These are children we sponsor in education and assign to loving, accountable and called pastors. They are fed physically and spiritually. All would be blessed to see these children change before your eyes as they are fed and sponsored. If you have seen any of our pictures, you see the fountain of joy springing up in their faces (and voices if you could but hear). Our hearts here are filled with everlasting joy at the abundance God provides through all of you. We often weep to think how many children will be transformed and trained for a better life because you also share in our joy.
Psalm 22:26 (NLT) “The poor will eat and be satisfied. All who seek the LORD will praise him. Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy.” Ras Robinson
December 3, 2012. Where you are is not seen and understood the way you see it. You are looking at the challenge from your point of view. Others are looking at the challenge from their point of view. There needs to be a come together. The only way that can be done and the right thing done is to see the challenge from My point of view. You have to lay down what you perceive. When the others see that you absolutely want the right thing done no matter the cost they too will lay down how they see the problem. You need to take the initiative. You demonstrate humility and others will follow.
James 4:5-6 (NKJV) “Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Bev Robinson
December 3, 2012. Now is not the time for theatre, playing or kidding around. In times past, you have taken serious matters in nature much too lightly. Yes, there is a time when being light-hearted is refreshing, just not right now. There are some decisions needing to be made which require your complete and undivided attention. Be a good listener. Don’t be impulsive in your assessment of the state of affairs. Wait patiently for My answer. Place your confidence in Me. Self-reliance has been an issue of yours in the past, but not now. Refuse to be the bull in the china closet. My decisions are just and righteous. Walk and talk My ways.
1 Corinthians 13:11 (NASB) “When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.”
Isaiah 11:2-3 (NASB) “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make a decision by what His ears hear..” Kevin Robinson
December 2, 2012. How about you? In my country, this is nearing the end of the football season for college teams. Competition is in the air! Within a few weeks, the national champion will be determined. Any team that breaks the rules of the game are not allowed to compete for the ultimate crown. Most of these rule breakers pay a significant financial fine and are sometimes suspended from parts of the games. The pressure of competition almost always brings temptation to break rules of the games in which you play. If you overtax your income flow with unwise expenditures, you may be tempted to lie or steal. That leads to failure, not victory. Pray on these things.
2 Timothy 2:5 (NKJV) “And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” Ras Robinson
December 2, 2012. I have called you. Yes you! Be light and salt where you are. I have put you in the right position. Don’t spend any time thinking surely it must be that other one, the one who appears to have so much favor. Child it is you. Be aware of your actions. Others are watching you like a hawk. They are observing and contemplating almost all of your actions and responses. I know you are one who is very aware of things around you, but you don’t realize the impact you are making. Keep Me much on your mind when you make decisions and take actions. Be light and salt.
Matthew 5:13-16 (NLT) “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. “You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Bev Robinson
December 2, 2012. Even though I have great hopes for you in regard to your potential, I extend to you a tremendous amount of grace when you fall short of the budding possibilities you possess. I believe nothing but the very best for you, yet you berate and badger those around you for their deficiencies in behavior. The truth is you don’t feel good about yourself, so you harp on others because you have not forgiven yourself. Because of your idealistic expectations which are unrealistic, you badger people. Do you like being badgered? Of course you don’t. Then why do it to others? Extend grace and kindness.
1 John 4:7-8 (ERV) “Dear friends, we should love each other, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become God’s child. And so everyone who loves knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” Kevin Robinson
December 1, 2012. You are a good tree, producing good fruit. Your great desire is to be pleasing to Me. Being like a tree planted by streams of water, producing continual good fruit is hard for you to believe. See yourself as I see you, good and fruitful. I have imputed righteousness into you so that you are good. With My righteousness as your new being, all your fruit is good and not bad. I am a good God . My purpose with you is that you see yourself as I see you, good and fruitful. You are good at your core. I have given you My spiritual gifts so that you bear abundant good fruit. This is who you are.
Psalm 1:3 (NASB) “He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. Matthew 7:17-20 (NASB) “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Ras Robinson
December 1, 2012. Everything is going the right way now, but stay on alert. Don’t let your guard down for a moment. That doesn’t mean you can’t do other things. There are things you must do, but keep your spirit on alert to My Spirit. Having discernment is all you need in the natural for the supernatural. I am always on alert to your enemy and I will let you know so keep our lines open and clear of all fear, all worry and all speculative thoughts. Conscientiously think of the things you are thankful for. Let your mind dwell on all the good things you can remember. Fill your mind up to overflowing.
1 Corinthians 2:11-12 (NLT) “No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” Bev Robinson
December 1, 2012. What would your response be if I said “I’m really busy” when you prayed to Me or called upon My name? You’d be in utter shock and disbelief, right? Yet that’s exactly what you’ve done to your brothers and sisters in Christ. You walk in misrepresentation with those you love the most. You don’t want to have any written correspondence with certain people, much less have a phone conversation. A personal visit is totally out of the picture. Would you like for Me to treat you in the way you treat others? Will you be remembered for what you accomplished or for the relationships you had? Make time for others.
Leviticus 19:18 (NLT) “Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.” Kevin Robinson
