Looking around this world there are many who are lost in the here and now. They fear the day they will draw their last breath and what, if anything, lies beyond that moment.
They have no promises to rely on. For them there is much uncertainty. The only things they see are the works of their own hands. They try to avoid the thought that they, like all things in this world, are eroding.
Whether it be suddenly, or over time, man made endeavors will crumble until there is nothing left but rubble.
In such times is there cause for hope? Consider this…
In the end there is but one who will remain standing. He is Christ Jesus. Every knee will bow before Him. Every tongue will confess that He alone is LORD. In His presence all the fleeting promises of this world vanish into dust. He is the one great hope for mankind and without Him we are truly hopeless.
Do you know Him?
Are you the recipient of His promises?
I will sing Your praises.
I will bow down and worship You.
You are exalted above all things!
Your faithfulness and Your love endure forever!
You have made me bold and stouthearted.
May all the peoples of the earth praise Your name!
Draw close to the humble and humble the proud.
In my hour of need, I know You will be there.
Search me and know my heart
for You are familiar with me and all my ways.
You protect me from all sides.
You shield me from the enemy.
There is no place where I am away from Your watchful eye.
Bless me with the continued revelation of Your love.
Fulfill Your purposes in me, for I am Yours.
