Compromise of the Truth by inflicting man’s interpretation into the Scriptures is nothing new having been going on for thousands of years. 

But, Today the compromising of the Word of God is much greater then ever before.

The Holy Bible is the very Handbook of God and was given by The Holy Spirit to men to be a spiritual guide into Faith.

It is imperative to understand that this Word cannot, and should not, be changed and rewritten [as men hold to private interpretations of its teachings].

To do so one must be corrected by reminding them that the Word of God is not or can be understood by private interpretation; but the Word must be understood by the same Holy Spirit that wrote it openly.

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”   2 Peter 1:19-21.

Men cannot understand the Scripture as a mere book of writings, but The Word from God himself, else the value of The Book will be forever mutilated.

The corruption of The Word can only bring darkness, because The Word is of God who is Light.

In past history The Bible has been even hidden by men in the basement of religious institutions from the reading of it by man. [as the Catholic Church did in the dark ages, by teaching the Word could only be read by the clergy or priest].

The Dark Ages were a direct result of such suppression of the Truth of God’s Word.

Times are again becoming very Dark now in this modern time because the Word of God again is being controlled by man and his religious beliefs.

The Darkness is increasing daily, as the Word is degraded.

Any true Believer must knowledge that his or her salvation came as a direct result of Faith in the Word of God.

The Word of God clearly states that Faith comes by hearing of the Word.  It follows then that If a person does not hear the Word he cannot have Faith.

Faith is a Heavenly Reality, a bright light from heaven that is controlled by turning on the Bible Switch.  If that switch is turned off, the Light goes out, and Faith is no longer understood.

Therefore because of the Reality of the Word of God in bringing forth the Faith to Believe; the corruption of the Word is of most serious consequence to salvation.  If and when the Word of God is corrupted then men are lost without understanding.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17.

Not only is the Word of God the source of Faith, it contains the very commandments of God as to his holiness.

Moral understanding comes by a careful understanding of The Word.  When men depart from the Word of God they leave off any moral behavior.  This brings about death because the Word clearly states:

“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”    Romans 6:22-23.

The Conclusion

Because of the modern departure from the Word of God by corrupting its contents and meanings, the World is becoming a very Dark Place, and is sliding into the darkness of Hell.
