  1. So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, you are cursed … And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed…” Genesis 3:14-15. That seed is Jesus Christ, whom God the Father sent at the set time to rescue us, and all who believe in Him from a fallen world that is not our ultimate home. As an act of LOVE, Jesus willingly came into human history to reveal the Father to us, and He stated in John 17:16 before his crucifixion in praying to the Father, “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” He was speaking of a segment of humanity over the Ages (then until now and even beyond). Jesus sees our struggles and our pain and He is truly in the midst. I have witnessed loved ones – some living, some deceased – who faced and are facing great, debilitating health and financial challenges live every day eager to share their faith on the memory of what God has done, and faith in His ability to do. Father, I pray that hope be restored to everyone that has lost hope, and faith be revitalized …

It starts by refocusing (placing your eyes on Jesus), refreshening (commit to spending at least 5 minutes a day in The Word) and remembering (how God has been your help, sustainer, provider, healer and comforter in times past). If you have not developed this history with God, read articles, stories and testimonies that will encourage your faith. I hear Him saying even now “I am He who loves you!”

  2. The race? God has little concern for mans opinion. He chooses who He wants. He created everything, hence He created evil in order to justify our suffering? I have lived many years and seen even the most devout believers lose their faith, because God allowed them to lost hope. Many are already lost and just going through the actions because God has turned this world over to Satan long ago. Hope differed makes the heart grow sick, and many are sick.

    • Doug, why would you consider the race as man’s opinion when it is of course an excerpt from God’s word?

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:12
