Good evening again people of God.
There is something of relevance which I am led to share with you. It is a very interesting piece of information which I believe lines up perfectly with the events that are unfolding in many of our nations currently.
Firstly, I would like to take us to the Book of Ezekiel the 8th chapter vs 7-12 which reads:
“So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.
And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” So I went in and saw, and there — every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls. And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”
Look now at vs 13-14
“And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.” So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.”
TAMMUZ is the name of a Phoenician deity, the Adonis of the Greeks. It is said that he was originally a Sumerian or Babylonian sun-god, called Dumuzu, the husband of Ishtar, who corresponds to Aphrodite of the Greeks.
The worship of these deities was introduced into Syria in very early times under the designation of Tammuz and Astarte, and appears among the Greeks in the myth of Adonis and Aphrodite, who are identified with Osiris and Isis of the Egyptian pantheon, showing how widespread the cult became.
The Babylonian myth represents Dumuzu, or Tammuz, as a beautiful shepherd slain by a wild boar, the symbol of winter. Ishtar long mourned for him and descended into the underworld to deliver him from the embrace of death (Frazer, Adonis, Attis and Osiris).
This mourning Tammuz was celebrated in Babylonia by women on the 2nd day of the 4th month, which thus acquired the name of Tammuz….
This custom of weeping for Tammuz is referred to in the passage just mentioned (Ezekiel 8:13-14). The chief seat of the cult in Syria was Gebal, where was the celebrated temple of Venus or Aphrodite, the ruins of which still exist.
The women of Gebal used to retire to this temple in midsummer to celebrate the death of Adonis or Tammuz, and there arose in connection with this celebration those licentious rites which rendered the cult so infamous that it was suppressed by Constantine the Great.
The name Adonis, by which this deity was known to the Greeks, is none other than the Phoenician ‘Adhon, which is the same in Hebrew. His death is supposed to typify the long, dry summer of Syria and Palestine, when vegetation perishes, and his return to life the rainy season when the parched earth is revivified and is covered with luxuriant vegetation, or his death symbolizes the cold, rough winter, the boar of the myth, and his return the verdant spring.
This was the disgraceful and licentious rites with which the cult was celebrated and to make it even more unique, it was performed mainly by women celebrating his return and mourning his death. An abomination indeed.. It has now become so applauded that critics today claim that this legend inspires the death and resurrection of Christ.
Take a look at what is going on today!
Based on the Jewish Calendar between June and July of the Gregorian Calendar is actually the month of Tamuz.
According to the Jewish Calendar, we are actually in the fifth month and the Babylonians worship of this God is for the weeping for TAMMUZ during this time…
This kind of celebration requires blood sacrifices to offer up to their false god’s and much of what we see taking place over the world. There is a spirit of death that has been released in the earth realm and this is associated with the time frame which this “god ” supposedly was slain.
The whole idea is to have everyone mourning and weeping over the dead this season so as to partake unknowingly in this abominable practice. But the devil is a liar!!
The enemy is so sly in his efforts, but let Elohim be God and reign over our lives, over our cities and nations… It is an abomination to mourn in this season.
Let God arise and His enemies scatter! There will be no weeping in our homes in the Mighty name of Yeshua!
We shall rejoice and be glad. My prayer is that the hand of the LORD will rest on each and every person and their families here. That our prayers will build a firewall of protection and a bloodline be drawn.
May God rebuke the spirit of death from over our nations and release His Ruach breath of LIFE!!
I want to declare over our lives according to the Word of God in Isaiah 61 that the Spirit of the LORD is upon me;
“To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,
to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.”
