“These new shoes are made for walking right into your appointed time to fulfill destiny!”
As we begin the countdown that brings 2019 to a close and ushers in 2020, many are going to find themselves “walking in NEW SHOES”.
Your walk will be different, yes your talk and for some even your name. Nothing as they say in the old song shall remain the same.
God has not called you to Walk in Anyone Else’s Shoes and No one Else Can Fill your Shoes.
There is a line in that old song that says, “I’m going to change the way I strut my stuff”.. there will be some changes made!”
As I pondered that thought, I heard The LORD say, “Yes, a divine upgrade will produce a stunning style and grace when confidence and trust take you to My appointed place!”
You’ll soon be singing that victory song: “I went to the enemy’s camp and I took back what He stole from me… Satan is under my feet….”
Your new confidence will arise and you shall “see” and “say” he’s under my feet.
I love the way the Passion Translation says it:
“And the God of peace will swiftly pound Satan to a pulp [a] under your feet! And the wonderful favor of our LORD Jesus will surround you,” Romans 16:20 (TPT).
For ‘pound’ or ‘bruise’ (KJV) the Greek word used suntribo (συντρίβω – suntribō) means “to beat up someone to a jelly” (or pulp).
And in Psalm 60:12 with God’s help, we will fight like heroes and He will trample down our every foe!
“Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies,” Psalm 60:12.
Many who travel will experience upgrades and a time of elevation will bring surprises in lifestyles and even new connections will quickly come into an unexpected comfort zone.
It shall be as if everything finally begins to fit together.
Have you ever tried on a pair of new shoes that were just your size but needed to be stretched out and “broken in” and you preferred to go back to the pair that had become so comfy and stretched?
Remember, in the beginning, those old reliables became pliable and comfortable as you wore them and walked in them.
But I hear Him whisper, “Those old shoes are worn out, it’s time to break in the new designer shoes I have waiting just for you!”
Oh how we love the familiar and shrink back from the unknown or uncomfortable.
The new designer shoes shall take us out of our complacency into a place of challenge and stretching that takes us beyond the need or desire for man’s approval.
For they are designed for walking into your destiny. No one else can catch the vision HE has for you.
He is presenting us an opportunity to walk in the miraculous and impossibility world that we have only talked about as we RSVP and embrace our destiny to a “greater things” ministry.
Indeed the time of “greater things” and deep revealing has come.
We serve a God of the Impossible. HE IS A ONE SIZE FITS ALL GOD! There is no one like Him.
So, just like Cinderella stepped into her glass slipper, He is saying step into transparency and rise to the occasion to dance with the Prince of Peace and allow the joy in gain to drown all past pain.
As you slip into His extended embrace, receive the grace for the assignment He has designed for you in this time of unrest in change.
He is saying, what you have sighted as a new day is actually a New WAY to understand the way-maker and receive renewal ANEW.
For the miracle-worker is truly a promise keeper who is leading the way of promises kept.
Beloved, Abba is saying, come and follow me, “These new shoes are made for walking right into your appointed time to fulfill destiny!”
