What Is Spiritual Grooming? — 5 Comments

  1. Something I find interesting is in the statement above where Paul says he had not failed in giving them the whole council of God and believing this to be true as a God breathed word. And yet in all his writhing which is more then any of the other apostles not once did he ever speak of a place called hell. How is that possible if all scripture is truth and God breathed?
One of the many things the so called church has got wrong in this hour. And instead of trying to find the truth most hang on to lies and would rather see God almighty as some kind of monster then to let go of a lie. Not for long for the time is upon us all.
Oh as a side not he never spoke about a trinity.either. Boy if he could have lived a couple more thousand years todays church could have brought old Paul up to speed. Or maybe the other way around. Most will not listen to sound doctrine they would rather listen to men who listen to other men. And have lost the way of truth.

    • Mr. Larson,

I find it easy to address your comments.
Paul also said, “Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has mades me His own…But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  Let those of us who are mature think this way…” Philippians 3: 12-15

Also it is your assumption that Paul did not address hell or our God is trinitarian by nature.  It is not recorded doesn’t mean he did not give the full counsel of the truth to the churches that he ministered to.  Even the Apostle John said in John 20:30 “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book…”

The most important thing is all the Apostles point us to JESUS Christ through whom He already addresses the existence of hell especially as recorded in the books of Matthew and Revelations.

Also the book of John and 1 John and in old Testaments, scriptures point to us the God we serve is trinitarian by nature.  We believe in the entirety of the Scripture and the authority of God’s word.  Please don’t undermine the Apostles’ writings. They have witnessed Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and wrote the scriptures as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

      • KY you spelled my name wrong. It is Larsen not Larson. Hope this helps in the future when you are helping people usually if someone gets the first part wrong the rest doesn’t mean much. By the way what does KY stand for?

        • My deep apology for misspelling your name, Mr. Larsen.
It does not matter what KY stands for.  Jesus knows my name.
I am not here to try to influence or help anybody using this platform.
I bear witness with Ms. Sherry’s words and simply want to agree with her.
It grieves me to see the credibility of Paul’s words being challenged not for the reason you might think.
I am forever grateful that the gospel of Jesus Christ has found me and my family thru the suffering and sacrifices of the
Apostles and Prophets including all the believers throughout history.  The words of the Scriptures were written with blood stained on them. In the west, our lives are pretty comfortable compared to all the persecutions and sufferings that believers around the world have to go through. May the Lord bless you and help you experience His wonderful grace in your life.

          • Oh so you are all about the truth. Then why did you challenge my statement? What I said was true. Not once in any of Paul’s writing does he ever mention hell a true statement. Not once does he talk about the trinity. A true statement. You just assume that I don’t believe in either of those things. My statement above was just that and through it to challenge what the truth about these things may be. At one point someone told me these things about Paul and I began to realize that most of what we think is truth is something someone told us and not actually in the Bible. Like what Paul might have told someone when we were not there 2000 years ago pure speculation and not truth at all. When I was told these things nearly 40 years ago I did not attack the messager I studied to show my self approved and found things were not what they seemed.
