I Cry Loud for the Church – Part 3
Who gave them authority the Church?
I’m going to need some of these Leaders to go back and truly study Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and the Book of Acts, because evidently, we have forgotten that we are not superstars, idols, or gods.
How dare we oppress the people with over exaggerated fees and duties toward us?
How dare we charge thousands of dollars for an affirmation ordination, or hundreds of dollars to license someone who only takes praying all night and anointing with oil and sending forth in the original sending forth?
How dare we put demands on people to take care of us and our families, with providing all our family members with cars houses and putting them on payrolls?
Did we forget that we are called to be servants to go forth preach the gospel baptized in water and to see the people being filled with the Holy Ghost – that we are called to further the Kingdom of God and not make our own kingdom?
What has happen to the compassion for souls the passion to build the Kingdom, the desires to be obedient to God?
How did we start letting titles drive us into pride and arrogance belittling others and tearing down other gifts in the Body of Christ?
When did we start letting a title make us think that we should be put on a pedestal and to be worshipped like we were more important than God?
How did a title cause us to get to a point where we need thousands of dollars to preach the gospel to a congregation of people?
Contrary to those with these big egos who think they need fifteen persons to travel with them and all of them are to be taken care of, leaders, the persons is really only responsible for bringing – you!
If you can’t minister without your entourage, then you need to have the finances to provide for them. Why tax a ministry thousand of dollars and drain the finances because you need to feel important?
When did we get to the point that we will only go preach to large congregations, like they the only ones who need the Word of Revelation we have, or the anointing that God has poured upon our life?
How come you want a five thousand dollar honorarium and you only have ten members in your church and five of them are on disability, which means you are not getting a five thousand dollar salary?
How did we get to these mindsets? What cause us to start thinking more materially than spiritually?
I can tell you from experience, when you start walking in your calling just because you love God, love souls and want to be pleasing, God will open doors for you on His own and bless you because of your faithfulness.
There is a big difference between being respected and being worship. Respect, is given because of your character attitude behavior. When you walk in integrity and honor even your enemies will respect you. We are NOT to be worshipped and there are far too many persons carrying a title who feel like they should have a throne beside God!
Humility should be one of your greatest character traits in leadership. Being humble, doesn’t mean I’m weak, but I’m the strongest when I allow the Spirit of God to be in control and when I am serving not only God, but others.
Your title doesn’t make you a god, but it should keep you in the attitude of a servant, praying for heart changes, for Godly and Kingdom mindsets and a desire to think more about helping the people more, than helping ourselves.
The finances are for furthering the gospel and the Kingdom of God, for helping the people and contributing to the community, not for us to have five houses six cars and ten bank accounts.
For real, why would I want to be the only one blessed and the people connected to me are in poverty, lack and famine? As a leader, I teach those with me how to bring increase to their lives, how to live debt free, and to walk prosperously, so that they can continue to sow into the Kingdom, so that if there are needs, they can be met and the gospel can continue to be preached without worries.
For your studying time, go back and read those books with a different outlook this time. Focus on the reasons they went forth; what motivated them; how they operated; what they used the finances for; how they entreated the people; what was there passion, and what was their motivation for doing the will of God?
Oh yes don’t come to me with tradition and religion, because I’m taking heads off beasts, dragons, snakes and giants in this wonderful season of restoring order and Kingdom principles, according to the word of God not man. We will find a way to make a dollar off of anything…….
