Being Prepared..

Throughout the Bible, the prophets talked about the time that was coming.  They gave warnings about events that were about to take place.  They even prophesied words that would be spoken at that time.  For the GOD they serve is a GOD of times and seasons.  GOD works His purposes within His appointed time.  He has set appointed times.  The Bible talks about “the appointed time” or “the fullness of time”.  GOD would even prepare people for the time, and there would be a window of time for them to prepare.  Therefore, it is important that we know how to be a part in GOD’s kingdom work by understanding what He is doing in our times and seasons.

“For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets”   Amos 3:7.

“From one man be made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth, and be marked out for their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.  God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us”   Acts 17:26-27.

“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons”   Galatians 4:4-5.

Jesus is coming for a victorious church, not a defeated church!!   We are, therefore, in a winning battle!!

“The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the LORD of hosts”   Haggai 2:9.

There are yet greater things that GOD is going to do in this world that we live in.  Let us expect a great move of GOD all over the world.  We can expect to see a testimony of GOD’s work in every nation.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”   Matthew 24:14.

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.
