Against the Grain and Currents — 14 Comments

  1. Bless you for sharing this. I so relate to what you have said. I too have lived a life, swimming always against the current. I too have been bruised by friends and yet, the relationship I have with the Lord grows day by day. He must be enough. it is a lonely path, but I am so thankful that you have shared this today. Thank you for pouring out the wine of your story. It fills my heart with hope xxx

    • So thankful to hear your words and experience!  God bless you!  Much love as always!  Sister Sherry

  2. Thank you so much for your story which you shared.  Most people cover up and put out an image so they will be accepted.  I feel like I have failed since my marriage did.  I have beaten myself up daily for the past 4 years thinking I can never be used unless somehow my marriage could be healed.  But it doesn’t look like it ever will.  Your story encourages to let go and let God use me in any way he can and to put aside any thoughts of what others think about me. Bless you for sharing!

    • Mark, I am so glad you shared these truths about how folks cover up the truth with various masks.  Beloved of God, I want you to know that you are going through >>>———> and not stopping as God will take everything in your life that satan meant for evil and turn it around for good. There are those destined to hear your story and message.  It does not matter our station in life or how many times we fail and fall down.  Remember the Samaritan woman..the woman who failed with 5 relationships?  Hebrews 4:18 “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. Mark make the vision plain and run with it!  You are not under, but over….over the hurdle! Your destiny is at hand!  Much love beloved of God!

  3. wonderful testamony Sherry..and so true…it is exactly where I want to be with the Lord…my heart is also saddened at the so called lukewarm christians who do not know the Word or listen to the spirit but follow every whim of doctrine because of it….many blessings to you my sister in Christ

    • Thank you Joannie for your wonderful comments.  And as I too am saddened as the Lord opens our eyes to see lukewarmness.  When we Identify with the Lord, he allows us to feel a portion of his heart in grief.  Can you fathom the pain He feels when we feel only a small portion?  It is mind boggling, but t I am thankful for that portion for it gives me hope for others so that we can minister truth in hopes to break thru the deception in prayer so that they can have a measure of break thru, enough so that these may hear the Truth that brings conviction of the Holy Spirit!! Thank you again and God bless you!  In His Great Love and Mercy Always dear Sister!
