Covert Mission — 3 Comments

  1. Sister Sherry,
I will confirm that Jesus was on a covert mission because if one “only” have to read the Bible the Spirit of Truth was not needed and the ‘whole’ world can “read” the scriptures.
But ONLY those who walks in obedience to the Spirit are His true disciples.
And ONLY those whom, even if they in themselves don’t “hear” the Spirit but clearly recognizes the Spirit of Christ in a brother or sisters mouth, they are also the Father’s true children.

“When He may come ,the Spirit of Truth, He will guide you to ALL the truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but as many things as He will hear He will speak, and the coming things He will tell you,” John 16:13
“An affirmation of him who is hearing sayings of God And knowing knowledge of the Most High, A vision of the Almighty he seeth, Falling and eyes uncovered,” Numbers 24:16.

  2. I’m sorry, Jesus was NOT on a covert mission and neither are true followers of The Way. What Jesus wanted kept a secret was that he was the Messiah. The Israelites of that time were looking for a man to be the king like David and lead them into battle against Rome and regain their freedom. This was not the fight that Jesus was on earth for. He can to show us how to set our hearts free from the oppression of governance by taking the responsibilities that come with the liberty that God created us for.
Jesus was not doing anything in secret. He was traveling the country boldly and even confronting in public those who were supposed to be the leaders and therefore exemplars of living out God’s Will, calling them “a brood of vipers””tombs is whitewashed bones” and many other defaming things. He told them “that they’ll were making the Word of God to none effect”
I am not on a “covert mission”. I am boldly proclaiming that God, by His grace has given us salvation, a strategy, a plan for redemption. If you read Matt 25:31-46 you should understand the plan. God’s plan is that we have agape love for one another, the great commandment. If you are a sheep, you are seeing to daily ministrations and being agape and discipling by example, by giving from what God has entrusted to your care to those in need without exercising authority over them (creating rules for entitlement) or sending those in need to those who call themselves benefactors but exercise authority.

  3. “blessed art thou… for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven”
    Thank you sister.
I had recently a “revelation” of that the words in that verse mean, that an inwardly spiritual revelation, is what is needed to follow (obey) the Lord, because there are so many who actually believes they follows Christ, but in reality they follows ‘Christians’ and are therefore listening to what humans say “about” Jesus.
“You don’t have to prove nothing to nobody.  Neither do you have to prove your innocence.  God will make you known and reveal you to those who have need to know.  God will make room for your gift.  Trust Him.”
    Amen!
The Lord has let me go through several experiences of that ‘the enemy’ recognizes what Spirit we walk in and therefore our (quietly and perfect) obedience to the Lord, will disarm the devil.
“…they heard these things, were filled with wrath, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he Passing Through The Midst Of Them went his way,” Luke 4:28-30.
