HE makes His Messengers as Flames of Fire

“He makes the winds His messengers, Flaming fire His ministers”   Psalm 104:4.

“Out of the depths I send forth my Spirit unto the brethren.  Out of the depths I hear the cries of my people.  You are my flaming messengers,  says the Lord.

(The Spirit of the Lord showed me a circle of people who were gathered around.  It was evening time and above them I saw them with arms lifted up and tongues of fire rested above each of them.  Then one by one, each would take a bow and shoot an arrow.  Each arrow was a flame, and as it was shot into the distance it fell, and then, bounced back up again and again, before finally being extinguished.  Several people had a bow and each of them would shoot an arrow that was a flame that went off into the distance in the same manner as the others.  And yet as the flaming arrows went off into the distance a strange thing occurred —- The flames became like figures and they ran off into the distance.  Then the vision faded.)

For you are my messengers, says the Lord.  I have entrusted you with the words of my Spirit.  As it is sent forth into the atmosphere it burns with the intensity of my almighty hand.  And some of you will run with these messages.

I allowed none of Samuel’s words to fall to the ground, and the same is true of many of you in this hour.  But as those words are sent forth, they will burn away the chaff.  And you will be so consumed with the fire that encompasses them that the flames of those messages will travel unto the uttermost parts of the earth.

For is my word not like fire?  For it can break the rock of human hearts.  And it alone causes the young and the old to be enraptured by Me.”
