Men Pleasers or God Pleasers!
“Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the LORD, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the LORD, whether he is a slave or free,” Ephesians 6:5-8.
Why is it, when the Church commits a public sin, we feel an obligation to conceal and to hide it from others, but when the world sins, we throw stones?
But, on the contrary we as the body of Christ act as if God is not talking to us when we sin, because we are in ministry or have different gifts bestowed upon us!
Yes, love does cover a multitude of faults and sins! (but this scripture here means to forgive, to restore, let it go and not to pretend the sin doesn’t exist or never happened!)
And why is it the church can only see that sin needs to be hidden and concealed when it is you or someone you love and or care about?
Is God a respecter of persons and is the heart of Jesus all about covering and separating and condoning some people sins while others go unpunished because of his or her title and position? Of course not!
In fact, in both the Old and New Testament, no matter who it was even when it was God’s own disciples or prophets he never condoned sin or tried to cover it up for those whom he called in the Kingdom of God and when people did try to cover it up like King David did when he committed adultery and got another man’s wife pregnant God used the prophet to expose it!
You see, Jesus came to save and to redeem man back to him and not to play favorites in the kingdom! However, I am finding that way too many people are more worried about self exposure and being found out than bring forth fruits and meat for repentance!
You see, David was a man after God’s own heart and God allowed everyone to see what he had done to Uriah by placing him on the front line to kill him and to steal his wife while he lay in another mans bed! How did God do this?
He sent the prophet to open king David’s eyes because he had become blinded by his sin! In fact, he could not even recognize that the man the prophet was referring to was him but he thought he was talking about someone else!
You see, how sin blinds us and dulls our eyes and this is why God uses others to speak on his behalf because our eyes and ears have become dull! For Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death, (2 Corinthians 7:10).
If only the body of Christ could begin to get their eyes off of man (flesh and self) and on what God is saying rather than on what others think about them! Then maybe more people would begin to get their mind more on pleasing God than how man sees and views them and than just maybe true repentance would finally come to both the nation and the church!
For, did not Christ say that you are the light of the world a city that sits upon a hill that cannot be hid? (Matthew 5:14).
You see, Christ even told Peter that he was going to deny Him before Peter even knew he was going to deny Him his self! And how ironic is that, Peter couldn’t believe what the LORD was saying was true, like many of us whom God gives others to give us a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom in the body of Christ!
We deny it and reject it, because it doesn’t sound like something we want to hear! You see, the spirit of pride always wants to cover up its faults; instead of admitting them and repenting and doing a complete u-turn we quietly and silently hold on to them!
The Spirit of Humility never cares whose eyes are watching; only the spirit of pride!

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
