Psalm 91 as a Prayer
Here is Psalm 91 written personally as a prayer of protection over you, over your home.
Pray this prayer every day at whatever time suits you. It’s written for us as a household but you can change it to yourself if preferred. I hope it helps. We use it every night with communion.
Psalm 91 Declaration
Because we dwell in the secret place of The Most High, we shall abide under the shadow of The Almighty.
We will say of The LORD, He is our refuge and our fortress: our God; in Him will we trust.
Surely He shall deliver us from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover us with His Feathers, and under His Wings we shall trust. His Truth shall be our shield and buckler.
We shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at our side, and ten thousand at our right hand; but it shall not come nigh us.
Only with our eyes shalt we behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because we have made The LORD, which is our refuge, even The Most High, our habitation;
There shall no evil befall us, neither shall any plague come nigh our dwelling.
For He shall give His Angels charge over us, to keep us in all our ways.
They shall bear us up in their hands, lest we dash our foot against a stone.
We shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall we trample under feet.
“Because He has set His Love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high, because he has known My Name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My Salvation.”

I used Psalm 91 regularly to speak protection over people I was praying for in the early days of the Covid pandemic. When you read the this psalm as a prayer or blessing it is helpful to change the personal pronouns around otherwise it can be confusing, so thank you for doing this! But you need to remember these words are the Lord’s covenant promises for those who love Him, and the final verses are His words directly to us! Thank you Lord!

This is one Psalms I pray & meditate on its 2nd verse (vs 2) only along side the whole of Psalm 23 & Psalm 121 vs 7-8 everyday & each time I want to step out of the house. I see there is a need to pray psalm 91 to the end! Thank you Sir for sharing.
