Testimony: Most of you know this one, but for those that don’t, it was a miracle.
October 2, I was feeding my horses. My mind was on the ladies retreat I had just come home from, and what had happened there.
I felt good and I had received a lot of freedom. I went to let out mini donkey out of his feed pen.
I walked up behind Tazz, our pony. I know human safety, but I failed to use it.
Tazz was eating and I walked up behind him without talking. I never cross that gate without talking.
Well I walked up squarely behind him in his blind spot and put my hand on his rump. I knew what was coming and I thought this is gonna hurt, as I took a step back.
I braced myself even. Well his left foot got me in the ribs, his right foot nicked my glasses and skimmed my shoulder.
Other than the wind being knocked out of me and the shock of it all, I felt fine.
I called my husband and decided to make a doctor’s appointment to get checked out.
I got ready for the appointment, still not feeling bad. My daughter was driving me, just in case.
I had to pee before I left and then was when I felt something move. Then the bloating began and just felt super gassy.
I got in the car and I felt like my chest was the size of a cereal box and couldn’t expand my lungs. I had to have my daughter pull the car over, because I knew I was gonna pass out.
I laid in the side of the road. She called for an ambulance and friends to start praying.
The entire time I was calling on the name of Jesus and praying in the spirit.
I asked God how are they gonna fix this, not knowing what was wrong, or even that there might not be a fix.
The ambulance got there and and got me. They told me that I appeared to have internal bleeding.
When I got into the ambulance, they got me buckled in I was still praying. I felt heat from the top of my head to the bottoms of my feet.
I complained about being so hot, they said the air conditioning was down pretty low. I could feel the cold, but was still hot! They said with the internal bleeding I should feel cold.
It was an hours drive to the hospital.
When I got to the hospital, literally when they pulled in the driveway, the heat lifted instantly.
When they stopped, I sat up on the gurney and stretched my arms and told them I felt good.
The kick had torn my spleen in half and they didn’t understand how I survived.
But I know that the heat was the hand of God grouching me.
They said that I had a Hematoma form around my spleen and stop all the bleeding. The tear was just as deep and it was long, a level 3 tear.
I have 3 months of recovery. I was not allowed near any of the animals. They said if I fell down it, would open it back up and I would not make it to the hospital.
I praise Him and give Him all the glory.
Sorry it was so long……
Thanks for reading it, praise Him for your every day. He loves us more than we can even imagine!
