“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God,” Romans 4:18-20.
Abraham Hoped against hope!
In other words, he believed when all hope was gone!
The LORD told me as I read this passage that there are many who are at the end of all hope right now — but He is saying for you to believe His Word, even when you are shaking in your boots, because he wants to show himself strong!
He wants to show you that He is not a man that He should lie!
He spoke to me about the last sentence in that passage of scripture, “but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”
He said to tell somebody that the way that He knows that you are hoping against hope is when you begin to give Him Glory anyway!
No matter what you are going through, give Him Glory for what His Promises are to you and then you shall begin to see His Word work in your situation!
All things are possible to them that believe! Hallelujah!
