There is a river that is being fed by streams, creeks, and tributaries.
From the least to the greatest, not one is greater than the River. The tributaries add to the strength and force of the stream.
The streams cause the creeks to widen and gain strength and increases in force of the flow. The River keeps gaining in force, strength and voluminous power as it slams against its banks as soil is carried down stream.
The River’s power can have destructive properties where what falls in can be swept away. It can also have characteristics that make it very suitable for the production of electric power for homes, businesses and factories.
But those characteristics have to be approached with wisdom and respect, because of the dangers they present…..
The Body of Christ is made up of people in homes, friends, prayer groups, fellowships and churches, not unlike the streams, creeks, fellowships and the River.
In this case, where two or more are gathered in His Name, there He dwells in the midst of us. This River is coming from the base of the Throne of God. This is the River of the Water of Life that proceeds from the Throne.
This River, clear as crystal, has a tree of life where its leaves are for the healing of the nations. It is where every home, friends, prayer group, fellowship and church can dip themselves in the River of the Water of Life and receive the healing that the Word of God in Revelation 22 promises…..
……Healing from all sorts of inner wounds, emotional distress and trauma, that all the things we may have suffered in life.
The shed Blood of Jesus Christ is the River that flowed on Calvary. And the Body of Christ, that is, we the Church, must get ourselves in line for the River to flow for forgiveness, for healing, for miracles, for deliverance, for the breaking of bondage, for the cleansing from sin that we all need at any time.
I believe that the shed blood of Jesus is the River that flows from the Throne. For “I send forth My Word; it will not return to Me void. It will accomplish the purpose for which I sent it.” “He came that we might have life, and have that life more abundantly”
The veil of the temple tore in half when Jesus died on Calvary. Now we have access to the Throne of God where we can come boldly to the Throne to find Grace to help us in our time of need, (Hebrews 4).
The Churches need cleansing.
Our homes, we and our friends, fellowships, prayer groups all need cleansing through the washing of water by The Word.
“If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; I will hear them from Heaven, I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land.”
Humble yourselves therefor under the mighty hand of God so that He will exalt you in due time. When will that time be?
Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times. You will gain strength from salvation.
“The fear of the Lord will be your treasure.”
From the least of us, to the greatest, not one is greater than the River.
Jesus Christ is LORD.
