“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” Matthew 24:37-39.
As I continued to listen to the words from the Lord, I was shown the ark that once went upon the oceans many, many years ago. The sky was dark and the seas outside were stormy, as the great ship rocked back and forth upon the waves. I saw a huge draw bridge lowered with chains on either side, to allow people to come upon the ark, but it was empty. And yet, I heard the cries and pleas from those who had decided not to come onto the ark.
“Be still. Be still and just listen to Me. How many people can just sit and listen? How many know of the importance of finding solitude with Me?
Such a busy world, and such a busy life, that many of my children lead. Many of you don’t know how to just stop and listen to Me.
How can you ever hope to know Me if you don’t stop and listen? How many Marys and how many Marthas are there?
For the world as you know it will be soon changing. Many of you will be taken by surprise. For as the seasons change and flow from one into another one again, so will the time come again when my own will step into the ark again. But this time it won’t be because of a flood. Indeed, there will be a great expanse of water; but the earth itself will open up.
And in times past that great ship sailed across many stormy seas. And the cries were heard outside. The cries were heard, but they could not enter into the ark. How many will be left behind this time? You see, I’m asking for you to enter into the wings of My ark. It is not made of gopher wood or pitch this time. But My very wings will uphold and guard you. I can carry you safely through the days ahead. But you need to be able to stop and listen to Me. For there was a time in the ancient past when the door was open to come in. But that door will not always remain open.
I have asked many of you to prepare for that day. Each in your own way has a plan from Me. Some have been called out to the desert. Others have already left for another land. You will be given safety in the days ahead, My children. But you must trust Me and follow the ways that I’ve outlined for you.
My children have always found a way in the past. I delivered them from their long years of bondage and slavery. They were rescued from the mouths of lions.
Throughout the many years, I always provided a way out for my own. And surely, there have always been those who have doubted Me. But once again, I look down upon a world where the hatred of one man against another and the violence in the streets has grown to such a great extent that the world itself must be cleansed.
And yet there are many events that still need to happen. But in the meantime, how will you know about these things unless the very foundations of your lives are changed?
Perhaps then I will have gotten your attention.”
