The LORD Will Turn Things Around for You — 5 Comments

  1. To paraphrase: Remember the patience of Jesus,” says The LORD. “He questioned. He suffered. He lost. He was falsely accused. People mocked him, scorned him, ridiculed him. His reputation and high position in his community was a thing of the past”.

“No one had been an example for him to follow in his day. You have the record of his sufferings, his sorrow, and the treatment that he received from others who added to his pain”.
Hebrews 5.  ‘During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek’.
Jesus says we will be persecuted and suffer, as he did.
When Paul was called, God told him what he was to suffer. Paul writes: “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of his body (which is the church) in filling up that which is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.”
